Highlights from our Kiwanis calendar with regard to our partners……Please contact our partners – they are ready to work together with you!

February 16th is World Read Aloud Day. Contact a local Scholastic representative for information to set up a book fair and let’s read to kids!

National Pancake Day! This event takes place on March 7th and helps to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. By contacting a CMH near your club, you can arrange to have a speaker at a meeting to help members understand how our service can help a local hospital. You can register at Kiwanis.org/npd. In order to participate, you will need to register prior to March 7 and shifts are for two hours. To find a CMNH near you visit CMNHospitals.org. This is great service project for your club and easy to do – just sign up and tell the crowds at IHOP about Kiwanis and maybe you’ll even get a new member! Have fun! .

Atlas Flags is giving away a $250 shopping spree running now until February 3rd. They have lots of great fundraising ideas, flags and flag kits. All items can also be stamped with the Kiwanis logo. Please enter at http://Kiwanis.atlasflags.com/register. Good luck!!

The next Kiwanis Warehouse contest to win a $250 shopping spree starts February 6 - 28. Log into your account at Kiwanis.org/warehouse and fill out the entry form. Please be sure to check out the Kiwanis Warehouse for ALL your fundraising needs. They have no minimum order and free shipping. They have over 260,000 items to choose from for your clubs. Questions? Contact Frank@dollardays.com

Signature Project Award ProgramYou can help shine a light on the life changing work your club does for your community. This year Kiwanis International is offering a new recognition program to help draw attention to the many incredible projects Kiwanis clubs are doing around the world. These are service projects that are recurring, enhance the Kiwanis Brand, demonstrate significant impact on the community in terms of monies raised or children served and strengthen membership and partnership opportunities. Please visit Kiwanisone.org on the KI website under the “Serve” tab to participate. Good luck!
