“Go The Distance” Awards and Challenges
This year will be a year of fun, recognition and challenges. Governor Frank has come up with challenges and awards to help clubs get more involved. Here are some criteria’s that you or your club
will need to follow to receive these special awards:

2012-2013 CLUB VISIT CHALLENGE AWARD
To qualify for an award, a club must complete all three of the following parts:

PART 1- VISIT A REGULAR CLUB MEETING FOR EACH KIWANIS CLUB IN YOUR
  DIVISION AT LEAST TWICE.

PART 2- VISIT A REGULAR CLUB MEETING FOR EACH OF YOUR SPONSORED
  SERVICE LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS AT LEAST FOUR TIMES.

PART 3- VISIT A REGULAR CLUB MEETING FOR AT LEAST SIX (6) KIWANIS
  CLUBS OUTSIDE OF YOUR DIVISION.

To qualify as a club visit, a minimum of two (2) members of your club must att end and the visit must be reported under the Inter-Club section on the online club monthly report. Visits must be done between October 1, 2012 and June 30, 2013. Only regular club meetings count towards this award, not special meetings such as installations, anniversaries, etc. Any club that completes all three parts of the
challenge will receive a special recognition at the 2013 District Convention.

2012-2013 “GO THE DISTANCE”
INTER-CLUB AWARD
Recognition will be given to the top three clubs in the District for the highest total miles traveled for all offi cial inter-club meetings from October 1, 2012 to July 1, 2013.

Inter-club Award Guidelines

An inter-club meeting is one which is held by two or more Kiwanis clubs or by a Kiwanis club and any Builders Club, Circle K club, Key Club, Aktion Club, or K-Kids.

A. For clubs having a membership of twenty (20) or less members, a minimum of two
   (2) members in att endance will be required to constitute an Inter-club meeting.

B. For clubs with a membership of twenty-one (21) to thirty (30) members, a
minimum of three (3) members in att endance will be required to constitute an
Inter-club meeting.

C. For clubs with a membership of thirty-one (31) or more members, a minimum of
    four (4) members in att endance will be required to constitute an Inter-club meeting.

D. All inter-clubs must be reported on the online club monthly report.
