Youth Protection Policy

by NEDK on 01/03/15

The children, youth, and adults with disabilities we serve deserve the best Kiwanis has to offer. It is our duty, collectively and individually, to keep those we serve through our Service Leadership Programs, and through other Kiwanis-sponsored programs and projects, safe from harm. This policy seeks to ensure safety by establishing clear rules governing the relationships and interactions between adult Kiwanis Club members and non-member adult volunteers and the children, youth, and adults with disabilities with whom we interact.

Read the full policy on our RESOURCES page under Rules & Regs.

Worldwide Report Day is November 12

by NEDK on 11/10/14

The Kiwanis family's efforts through The Eliminate Project are making a big difference. The number of babies dying from neonatal tetanus dropped more than 15 percent between 2010 and 2013, according to a report by the Child Health Epidemiology Reference Group. Approximately 9,000 fewer babies are dying each year thanks to Kiwanis, UNICEF and its partners.

Find out our latest fundraising totals during the next Worldwide Report Day on November 12, 2014, when we’ll showcase our progress at We're on the verge of turning a global effort into a worldwide achievement with the strides we’re making toward our US$110 million goal. Help keep the momentum going!
